Unfortunately no, we love your little ones, but capacity constraints and the historic nature of our venue limit our guest list to an adults-only celebration.

Unfortunately due to limited space, we are only able to accomidate those listed on your formal invitation. We appreciate your understanding!

We kindly ask that you RSVP on or before March 8th, 2027.

The dress code is formal attire. We ask for you to dress in suits, dresses knee-length or longer, or pantsuits. This main event will not permit jeans or t-shirts.

This is akin to a step above your “Sunday Best” - we are happy to be an excuse for you to get dressed up fancy with us!

COLORS

We kindly ask you to dress in jewel tones or dark jeweled tones. Also, colors resembling the bride- such as white, ivory, cream, or pastels of any shade are not permitted.

We ask those in attendance to adhere to wedding etiquette and not wear garments of colors that could be misconstrued as white in a photo. This includes pale pastels, cream, florals containing a majority of white, or the like. Collared white button up shirts under a suit jacket, sweater, or vest are acceptable.

We’re asking guests to dress in a formal/semi-formal dress code, so no jeans, shirts without a collar, clothing containing holes/rips, non-formal jackets, or t-shirts of any kind.

Absolutely! We’re asking all guests to wear formal-wear in jewel or dark jewel tones, and black is a perfectly acceptable alternative.

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day.

Please respect our privacy and don't share photos of our wedding on social media until we have the chance to, as we'd like to make a formal wedding announcement with our professional images.

Because of the historic nature of the property, not all areas of Allerton are accessible. However, the ceremony and reception take place on the first floor of the mansion, where those requiring wheelchairs or walking aids can access the rooms.

For those wanting to explore the property the venue does offer motorized wheelchairs and scooters at a first-come-first-serve basis.

While the Allerton Estate contains award winning gardens, artwork, and nature- the bride’s inability to control the weather and temperature entails that the weekend’s events will be held indoors.

The Allerton Estate offers multiple parking options, including handicap accessible parking. For closest parking to the ceremony, we advise parking in the “Main Parking Lot” adjacent to the mansion.

The University of Illinois Willard Airport in Savoy is only a 30 minute drive from the venue.

We will be hosting a pre-wedding day “Welcome Party” where there will be appetizers and drinks available at the atrium bar at 5:00PM on April 9th.

The main event on Saturday April 10th will consist of a cocktail hour beginning at 5:00pm, with dinner containing a meat, fish and gluten-free/nut-free/vegan option. If you have dietary or allergen concerns please denote as such on your RSVP so we can assist in accommodations.

Your presence at our wedding is the best gift we could ask for! However if you would like to honor us with a gift, you can deliver it to the return address on your invitation. There will also be a card box available at the venue during the wedding events.
